From my understanding, IE10 is a completely rebuilt version of IE. I have been using it on my desktop for awhile and I have actually started using it more than Chrome. I have ran into a few quirky issues, but I have been using it since it was in beta. I would see if all of your necessary sites work in it using another machine before loading it up in RDS. I agree that you should first check if IE 10 is currently be used at your work sites. I would test IE10 outside and inside the terminal server then run whatever caused the issues in IE 9 along with anything else you would use IE for.
