Windows 10 is what Microsoft calls Windows-As-A-Service, which means it’s being continuously updated. Windows 10 is a brand new operating system, and like all new operating systems it needs lots of updating to fix all the early bugs and install features that were missing when it was first released.

Windows 10 is due to receive two major upgrades: one in October and the other in Q1, You could consider those as service packs, but Microsoft has dropped that terminology. You should know that every new operating system is released with lots of bugs and other problems that get worked out in the first 3 to 6 months after release.

For most ‘normal’ people, it’s best to wait 6 months before installing a new operating system. Tech enthusiasts, on the other hand, enjoy playing with new operating systems and dealing with the early problems. That’s part of the fun. But it’s not everyone’s idea of fun. I don’t like windows 10, therefore, I would not recommend it. I have Windows 10 Pro, which is suppost to have more features than Windows 8 and Windows 7 pro, but it doesn’t. Infact, all versions of windows 10 are lacking the ability to change window border colors.

You are strictly stuck with White color window border, which make it impossiple to see which window you are currently imputing stuff into active , and not imputing stuff into inactive. Also, it can get pretty hard on the eyes when the white background of a program meets the window border, infact, they blend in so much that you cant tell the difference between the application background, and the application window borders.

I agree with you, it looks terrible and is hard on my old eyes too, but there are some “tweaks” to deal with it. Threats include any threat of suicide, violence, or harm to another.

I do not wish to use my PC as an experimentation device, if i want to experiment on Windows 10, i would install Windows 10 on my old machine, place it in developer mode, and enable Windows Insider mode in Windows Update. Please Note, Since Windows 10 is now considered Windows-as-a-service, We will always have bugs in windows.

I think it is sad that Microsoft is taking an OS origionally built in the , and destroying it. This is the last time I say it – Dont screw with Windows It is pretty bad when i can get Windows ME to start up and shut down faster than Windows 8, and Windows 10 could.

Why is it so slow? Well, it is slow because Microsoft went and integrated a million useless apps that i consider bloatware, and then made it imposiple to uninstall many of them.
